All devices have a capped render distance. While this is likely well intentioned, it feels unnecessarily restrictive. For example, the PS5 Pro has the same cap as the PS5. Maybe you’ve tested things internally and know it can’t handle the extra draw distance, but most would agree the PS5 Pro should outperform the PS5. Without any confirmation on your side, it feels as though you’re intentionally handicapping higher end systems. Unlocking the render distance allows users to set it at a value their system can handle without feeling held back by the developer.
