Making lanturns produce light when in main/off hand!

I think it would be cool to have lanterns glow when held in main/off hand. This would make the lantern a little more usefull sense right now they are only good for building and unless you're going for a really detailed build then you can use todches for much cheeper. Doing this with torches would make the lantern useless still if it does get this feture and I think it would be cool if it could get a little more functionality then it has.
