Many mobile Minecraft players struggle because there is currently no simple way to export, download, or back up world files. This makes mobile worlds extremely unsafe — if the phone breaks, resets, or runs out of storage, years of progress can be lost forever.
What I’m suggesting:
A built-in “World Save Manager” feature in Minecraft Bedrock Mobile that lets players:
- Export worlds as a .mcworld file
- Back up worlds to local storage, SD card, or cloud storage
- Transfer worlds between mobile → PC → console
- Restore worlds safely at any time
- Show world size, last backup date, and storage location
Why this is important:
- Mobile users make up a huge part of the community.
- Many players switch devices and lose everything.
- Some players want to move their worlds to Realms or PC.
- Backups protect long-term survival worlds, builds, and memories.
This single feature would help millions of players keep their worlds safe and improve the entire Bedrock experience.
Please add a simple and official way for mobile players to back up and export their worlds — it would be a game-changing quality-of-life upgrade.
