The Knockback in Bedrock Vanilla is absolutely terrible, so players are hesitant to open a world for PvP. Instead, they would rather go on Hive and Zeqa to PvP.
My suggestion:
For every possible KB (non-netherite gear, mobs with KB), make the Bedrock Knockback the same as the Hive server (which also needs to fix player movement so it is not stuttery)
Why is this necessary?
1. Bedrock has all the new items from Java, but traditional Bedrock servers struggle to keep up with using the new items. Even so, we get a lesser version of the PvP kits that Java has (e.g. Mace and Crystal PvP)
2. Practically, people prefer opening SMPs on Java rather than Bedrock. The KB in vanilla worlds on Bedrock is already terrible, as if the other player glitches while taking KB.
3. Allows more combat opportunities for Bedrock. We don't have kits such as a full vanilla crystal kit or SMP kits. It will open up new varieties for combat in Bedrock.
4. Hive is the most popular server on Bedrock, and using its KB on mobs that take KB and non-Netherite players would be a massive game changer.
5. Apart from that, shields should not be inflicting KB on enemies for parity.
