Bears

Why is there only polar bears? It seems kind of random to have one kind of bear in the whole game. Especially if it’s a polar bear. In the dark forest biome caves should be added where the black bear lives in and on the ground of those caves there should be skeleton skulls. To take a step further the black bear should have baby cubs following her around and at night the black bear will protect her comes from the hostile mobs and she will attack you if you get to close. Then in the planes biome there can be a Grizzly bear that lives in caves on the sides of hills/mountains. And if you kill a bear you can get its pelt and craft a coat so you don’t freeze to death in powdered snow (I also forgot about the panda bears that are already in the game sorry)

    While bears may seem like the same animal as polar bears or pandas, they are part of a different species. The similarities is equivalent to human and ape, they are related, but extremely different. While I appreciate your idea, I doubt they would add this to the game for several reasons. First, its an animal, not a fantasy creature, and a hostile one too. Second, you need to kill the bear, which is a game mechanic they are currently staying away from. If the bears had some real use, they might consider it.
