As it stands out in the swamp, the witch hut is a useless structure with minimal purpose. It has many flaws - The fact that swamps are so rare, and finding a witch hut is even rarer, the lack of items and reason for venturing out to a witch hut, and its small, mundane design. Firstly, the swamp is far overshadowed by the mangrove biome, and there’s no purpose to venture there making player’s not want to explore, thus resulting in them not even finding a witch hit. Secondly, the items that it gives are terrible, even for early game: we could replace this by adding guaranteed potions with special effects that you can’t craft such as a potion of darkness (gives the darkness effect), spectral potions, and potion of immunity(makes you immune to side effects except for fire). Lastly, the small, mundane designs doesn’t quite encourage the player to explore. By using more vibrant colors and making the build bigger, the player will be more eager to venture out to the witch hut. As a side opportunity, this would be an amazing chance to implement lights that emit their color around them. This would create atmosphere around the witch hut. Similar to how you get mining fatigue if your near an ocean monument, you could get darkness or nausea if you are near the hut, the only way to inactivate the effect being to slay the witch. Finally, this new and reimagined design of the Witch Hut could finally make the swamp a useful biome and encourage travel.
