Solving the creeper issue + New mob: The Moa

Hey there Mojang, how you doing?

This idea may be a bit strange, as it is a bit late to the party. (Mounts of mayhem.)
My suggestion is for a new mob: The Moa!
A massive four-block-tall flightless bird, acting similarly to a combination of a wolf and a camel.
Being able to charge a jump like a camel but one that launches you in your look direction rather than forwards, power and speed of this is selected via breeding, similarly to horses.

Speaking of breeding: how about something similar to sniffer mechanics?
Laying a pale-brown egg item, placeable on a hay bale on sand to hatch. or maybe something like wolf mechanics in the way that is may wear armor, and defends you when necessary, primarily neutralizing creepers, solving the problem of having something that you can't control destroying your creations. (Tameable with any berries.)

Obtaining moa:
Two ideas; finding them in sus gravel in a trial ruin; or, obtaining them by brewing a sniffer egg onto chicken eggs, thus creating moa eggs.

Other usage:
Moa could be suited with saddles, or barrels as an alternative to chests. (giving more storage than a silly old donkey) Other than that, moa could be docile creatures. No harm could come in adding these. Right?
