I've been playing Minecraft since I was a little kid. Looking back now, I think it was in Beta. What I would do would be playing on Pocket on my iPad, and I would make these fun things like glass highways. So then when the game updated out of Beta, my family played it together. And we were shocked to see the versitility of all the blocks. I was absolutely shocked at all the biomes. I remember being disappointed that the new title screen wasn't as good as the Beta one in my opinion, but then quickly forgot about that in my pure joy in seeing this spruce forest and pumpkin patch. I think that moment of "woah" would be less accented if we weren't in Creative mode. In Survival mode, you have to survive and you don't see nearly as much things. Also, we were newbies. I cringe to think of what would happen if we picked "adventure mode". We might've quit; we were petty back then. All that backstory, and my suggestion is simple: a button in the Minecraft launcher the first time you open it. It says, "Make new Creative world". And if you press it, it loads the world generation tab with the added label, "This world is set to Creative. Hover to learn more!" I think it would make the game more exciting and new for new players. Just a subtle touch to make it more fun.
