Ocean Monuments aren't rewarding, so here is my idea for rewards. Guardians would have a chance of dropping a guardian spike. Guardian spikes would be like dripstone and it could be used to make infinite potion farms with cauldrons. However, the guardian spike would decay over-time and would need to be replaced.
One of the three Elder Guardians would drop a guardian key which could be used to open guardian vaults (vaults in the trial chambers will be renamed to trial vaults). The key would be randomly assigned to one of the Elder Guardians. There are five guardian vaults and the key can only be used five times. The guardian vault would give the player amazing loot.
Clearing Enchantment
The clearing enchantment could be applied to a pickaxe, axe, or shovel. This enchantment would allow you to mine a 3x3 area. Breaking one block would break all the blocks around it. It will ignore bedrock and any blocks it is incapable of mining. A stone pickaxe for example would ignore diamond ores but it could mine iron ores. This enchantment would work mining forwards, mining up, and mining down.
