With the Nintendo Switch 2 having sold over 10 million units and expected to reach 20 million by the end of the year, and given that Minecraft on Switch is, alongside Xbox, one of the best-selling platforms after mobile, now seems like the right time to unlock additional features for this console.
Features such as higher rendering options, improved FPS, enhanced visuals (reducing popping), and the ability to use Vibrant Visuals would greatly enhance the experience. This could be offered either through a free update or a dedicated “Minecraft Switch 2” enhancement pack.
It’s disappointing that Switch 2 users are being treated as second-class players or seemingly overlooked, especially since no official statement has been issued regarding these possibilities.
You can’t tell me that the Switch 2 runs Hogwarts Legacy and Cyberpunk equal or better than an Xbox Series S, yet it can’t run Minecraft at a decent quality…
