I hope/suggest adding aquatic plants/aquatic (crops) to Minecraft.

I hope/suggest adding aquatic plants/crops to Minecraft, such as reeds/cattails and rice.

    What would they do?

    Cattails would be pure decorative I believe, but what about reeds and rice? Any special purpose? Extra cooking recipe?

    it would fit with the nautilus drop (mounts of mayhem)
