I would like to suggest improvements that will greatly enhance Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, especially for Pocket Edition players.
1. Custom Button Interface:
A new “Add Button” option in control settings will let players create custom buttons, drag them anywhere on screen, and adjust opacity and size with sliders. Tapping a button will open a side menu to rename it and assign keybinds, linked to existing keyboard & mouse bindings. Adding Import and Export Layout options in the Touch tab will let players save or load setups as .json files, making backups and sharing layouts simple.
2. Offhand Functionality:
A full offhand system like Java Edition will be added.
• Double-tap a filled hotbar slot to move the item to offhand.
• Double-tap an empty slot to bring it back.
• Double-tapping when both contain items will swap them.
• Items can also be placed manually through inventory.
• If the main hand has a non-right-clickable item but the offhand has one, the offhand will activate. If both are right-clickable, the main hand takes priority. Shields in offhand will raise when sneaking, not on right-click.
For controls:
• D-pad/Joystick + Touch players will use offhand by tapping or holding the screen.
• D-pad/Joystick + Split Control players will use the existing Place/Right-Click button.
3. Java-like Health System:
Bedrock’s regeneration will be improved to match Java Edition for smoother, fairer survival, especially for mobile players.
