Growing Weeping Vines

You could craft a block of rotten flesh which will decay similar to how copper oxidizes. A block of rotten flesh will significantly boost the growing speed of weeping vines. Instead of using an axe, you will need to give it more rotten flesh to restore it. You can't prevent it from decaying.

You could also use a cauldron of water to turn twisting vines into weeping vines.

Weeping Bread

Weeping bread is identical to bread except it is red. It can be crafted using three weeping vines.

Weeping Cake

A weeping cake is crafted similar to a cake but you use weeping vines instead of wheat and cooked pork chops instead of sugar. The cake will be red.

Weeping Arrow

The weeping arrow could be crafted by surroundinga weeping vine in arrows. This arrow can only be shot with a crossbow. Once the arrow hits a target block, it will use weeping vines from your inventory to pull you towards the target.  It can be shot any distance if you have enough weeping vines in your inventory. The arrow is completely harmless. This could also be used to mount a happy ghast.

Weeping apple

A weeping apple is crafted by surrounding a golden apple in weeping vines. They don’t stack. It will grant Resistance Lev.225 for 10 seconds.

Potions.

After you use glowstone to increase the potency of a potion, weeping vines could be used to increase the potion to Lev.10. Instead of jumping two blocks with a potion of leaping, you could jump a lot higher.
