/id is a command that you can give blocks and id
If you do /give @s [{id:your id:}] it gives you the item that has an id
If the player does /setblock barrel/chest #id:??? the block will have the id. If the player puts some items in the first one then if they place the block with the same id thats either a barrel or chest it puts the items that you put in the first chest and the player cannot change the chest unless if they edit the first one that existed. If a player does /id generate it generates a 1-99 id code. If a play gives a dried ghast an id the id will be the happy ghasts name. If a player does /id inventory the inventory has its id and this can be used to do /give @s [{id:inventory:id}] it will give the play the inventory
you can change how /id works
