Title
Option to permanently lock Operator and Creative mode in Survival worlds (with retroactive support for existing worlds)
Description
Currently, when you create a new Minecraft world, you are automatically set as an Operator. This means you can accidentally enable Creative mode or use commands, which immediately disables achievements. Even a single mistake can ruin a long-term Survival experience.
Proposed Feature
Introduce an option called “Lock Operator and Creative Mode”.
When enabled:
-
No player can become Operator
-
Commands cannot be used
-
Game mode cannot be changed
-
Even the world creator cannot disable this lock
Important Details
-
The option should be available when creating a new world
-
It should also be possible to apply it to existing worlds, so players can protect worlds created before this feature was added
Once activated, the lock is permanent, ensuring a true Survival experience without accidental cheats or disabled achievements.
Benefits
-
Prevents accidental mistakes in the menu
-
Eliminates the temptation to cheat
-
Keeps achievements intact
-
Perfect for solo Survival and private multiplayer worlds
This simple feature helps keep Survival mode authentic, secure, and enjoyable for everyone.
