Parity means making features behave consistently across different Minecraft editions, most commonly between Minecraft: Java Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Use this category to discuss released features that exist in both versions of the game but work differently. Please note that bugs are not parity issues and should be reported separately.
After having issues accessing the Home cape and Copper capes from my Minecraft account when playing Java Edition, I learned the solution to my problem is to install Bedrock Edition and access my capes through that version of the game.
It would be a much better user experiece if Java players could access our new capes through the version we play, rather than having to install an entirely separate edition first.
