Bedrock and Java have many differences, not all of them are bad, but many of the differences need to be changed. Even though most of these are simple changes, Mojang hasn’t fixed these in years. For example, spectral arrows were released in 2016 on Java, but they haven’t been added to Bedrock in nine years.
Bedrock
- Spectral arrows.
- Consistent redstone timing (no randomness)
- Operator utilities tab (creative mode).
- Individual paintings (creative mode).
- Furnace minecart.
- Illusioner.
- Placing tons of tnt minecarts.
- /attribute command.
- Weapons will have a cooldown. However, unlike Java, it will do two hits before a cooldown because Bedrock combat is more difficult and there are occasionally problems with the mobile controls.
- The off-hand will be made more useful. Both Bedrock and Java need this to be updated with more features. For example, using fireworks in the off-hand while flying with an elytra.
- A gamemode shortcut in addition to tp/time/weather/spawn.
- Building on top of the Nether.
Java
- Increase the block placing/breaking distance to 6 blocks in survival and 12 blocks in creative. The crab-claw would also be added to both Java and Bedrock which could be worn in a new armor slot to double the block placing/breaking distance.
- There needs to be a short delay between retracting multiple pistons.
- The wither’s health will be doubled and it will be made more difficult.
