Currently shadows in Vibrant Visuals are pixel consistent which looks great, however I think it would be nice to have the option for shadows to be block sized instead of pixel sized. Everything else would remain the same. The shadows would still shift with the sun, but instead of moving pixel by pixel, they would move block by block. Mobs would still cast shadows, but they would just cast block shadows. A player, for example, might have a shadow that is the size of one block at noon. Who knows, maybe this could be less of a burden on computers since it doesn't have to render each and every pixel, just blocks as a whole. Shadows wouldn't have to move every second, only every couple of minutes (theoretically, it would be a sixteenth as much).
