I understand that the primary motivation for unifying the purchase of Minecraft: Java and Bedrock Editions for PC was to simplify the product line and ensure all PC players have access to cross-play capabilities via the Bedrock edition. However, this mandatory bundle forces a significant segment of the player base, dedicated Java users or those only needing Bedrock, to pay the full price for an edition they will never use. I urge Mojang to reintroduce the option for a standalone purchase of each edition. This would respect the player's choice and provide a fair, reduced cost of entry for those who know their specific needs, without compromising the availability of the unified bundle for players who do want both.
What we experienced from this two-in-one bundle:
- I and my friends doesn't have a strong enough PC or laptop to run Java smoothly so we have to buy the bedrock edition alone, but we can't since it's been FORCEDLY merged with the java purchase, which we cannot afford just like that. We are still college and doesn't have a job yet. why? because it's harder here in The Philippines to get a job while still in college. We have our limits of money spending here, whether it's for our own happiness or something we need for our daily life... Don't say "It's a you problem" on us. You don't know what it's like to love a game we can't afford. This is where Piracy comes to life, which we will not do since we can't afford to lose our PC as well, Just saying...
