Waxing blocks to make them stickproof [Java]

It would be nice to have more variety of stick-proof items. All blocks that are immune to slime blocks aren't pushable with pistons, (obsidian, all containers, and and all the netherite related blocks), except for one type. Glazed terracotta is cool, and while I do personally love it, you have to admit it's design.... clashes, for lack of a better term, with most builds. It'd be nice to just be able to put some wax on some blocks to be able to better combine redstone and decoration. And of course you wouldn't have to add all the waxed variations to the creative menu, I mean you don't have all 1.9 trillion firework combinations or however many there are.
