Dear Mojang Team,
Minecraft is an amazing game that connects millions of players, but one feature could make it even better official proximity voice chat for both Java and Bedrock. It would let players talk naturally to others nearby, creating a more immersive and social experience. Imagine exploring caves or villages and hearing your friends’ voices around you it would make the world feel alive.
Right now, players use third-party apps like Discord or mods, which Mojang can’t moderate. An official system would make voice chat safer, following Microsoft’s community guidelines and parental controls. It could also unite Java and Bedrock players with a shared, built-in way to communicate across all platforms.
To keep it safe, Mojang could make voice chat 13+ only, using Microsoft Family Safety so parents can manage permissions. Voice chat should also be optional and customizable, with mute, block, and range controls.
Adding proximity voice chat would make Minecraft more immersive, modern, and connected while keeping players safe. Please consider it as the next big step for Minecraft’s community.
Sincerely,
HoloGuardian
