When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

New copper rails and faster golden rails

What if new copper rails replaced the old gold rails, including those already in place? In this case, the copper rails would have the same characteristics as the old gold rails, so no existing rail systems would be destroyed. This would allow for the addition of new and improved gold rails, which could accelerate minecarts to higher speeds.
