Hey Mojang team! π
I wanted to suggest something that would make a massive quality-of-life improvement for Minecraft: please let Bedrock Edition players switch texture packs directly from the in-game pause menu, just like Java Edition players can.
Right now, itβs extremely inconvenient that we have to completely exit our world, go back to the main menu, and open the world settings just to change a texture pack. This breaks the flow of gameplay β especially when youβre testing different packs, comparing visuals, or just want a quick change for creativity or performance reasons.
It shouldnβt matter whether youβre in single-player or multiplayer β we should be able to swap resource packs at any time directly from the in-game settings.
Java Edition has had this feature for years, and itβs a simple yet powerful convenience that helps players personalize their experience on the fly. Bringing this same ability to Bedrock would make the game smoother, simpler, and much more enjoyable for everyone.
This change would honestly make a lot of playersβ day β and make Bedrock feel more polished, flexible, and modern. Itβs about time we get the same in-game texture pack control that Java players enjoy!
Thank you for reading, and I really hope this gets considered for a future update π
β A passionate Bedrock player who just wants to change packs without quitting their world!
