I'm not sure how easy it would be, but I've been screwing around with data packs a little bit, and I feel like it would be immensely helpful for data packs to detect more keyboard inputs. Then someone designing a data pack could implement a new hotkey for some reason or another.
For example, I'm working on a data pack that involves enchantments the user can toggle on/off at will. It would be really nice if I or the player could assign that toggle to a random keybind, like the T key or something, so they can turn it on and off without affecting other elements. As it currently stands, I'm having to make the toggle something unobtrusive to gameplay, like "hold ctrl and shift for about a second without moving," which just makes it cumbersome to use.
