Since the new update (1.21.120) the vibrant visuals seem to have been revamped but in that process it's lost its "minecrafty/pixely" look. The reason for that are the new reflections which completely hide that pixely look and are in my oppinion too much. Due to the revamp everything also seems to be too bright and the water is more seethrough than it should be and also losing its pixely surface reflections due to that. With the reflections all of the blocks look like glass/look smooth which doesnt fit and is too much (like already said). You can of course deactivate the reflections but it doesn't remove the other points said. The new vibrant visuals fall more in the category "raytraced" without that option even being available in normal worlds. Updating the relatively new graphics was completely unnecessary and removes its "official Minecraft shaders" status and now looks more like some java shaders that doesn't even really fit. Even without the reflections i can still often times see the sky getting rendered even tho my gpu is right on the lower edge of highend.
This is just my opinion and i just hope to get the old vibrant visuals back or atleast the brightness and reflections getting fixed.
