The Problem:
Vibrant Visuals has been around for a while now, and with the release of shader packs on bedrock, one question has been asked by multiple people "what is the best gamma/brightness setting?". Unfortunately there is no easier answer, as no set gamma setting looks great in ALL scenarios. This is the issue, when setting a gamma level, it may look good in the overworld but not on other dimensions. In my personal experience, I set my gamma to 70. For me this is the best gamma for day time in the overworld, however, when caving, in the end or night time game play, it is TOO DARK. Increasing the gamma would solve the issue, however the trade off would be a blinding nether and day/noon in the overworld.
How do can this be fixed?
Add Gamma Sliders for each dimension in Minecraft nether, end and overworld customisable by the player to fit their own needs. This ensures that each dimension will look good in their own right and their will be no "one size does not fit all" issue. However, as the overworld is the only dimension with day/night cycles, 2 gamma sliders should be added for this dimension. A Day gamma slider and a Night gamma slider, where the Night gamma slider will also apply to caving conditions the in overworld.
How will this look like?
Overworld Gamma:
[Day Slider]
[Night Slider]
Nether Gamma:
[Gamma Slider]
End Gamma:
[Gamma Slider]
Adding something like this would greatly improve the VV experience, by giving more choices to the player with no trade offs to worry about.
