Sentient Spider

Sentient eggs could be found in chests within Ancient Cities. It would spawn a sentient spider when it is thrown. The eggs do not stack. These spiders are as small as cave spiders. They have yellow glowing eyes and eyes on the top of their head too, and they will light up the area around them like a torch. They are completely soundless. Its bite causes the nausea effect. They are excellent hunters and can see up to 66 blocks away, even through solid blocks.

It will attack the first thing it sees and it will not stop pursuing its target or change its target until the target is eliminated. It can even detect anything that is invisible. They can crawl on walls and ceiling, and have a more realistic crawling animation where they can crawl at an angle. They can walk over water and powdered snow. They can even break blocks or dig tunnels. They can jump up to a height of 10 blocks.

They have 32 health points (16 hearts). They can also slowly regenerate their health as if they were effected with regeneration. They are immune to drowning, fall damage, and all negative effects. They drop a sentient eye and a sentient egg. The spider transfers its soul into the egg, so it is essentially immortal. If the egg is broken, it will continue to pursue the same target.

You can tame it by feeding it sculk veins. It will follow you around. It will glow like a torch, but it will not attack anything. A tamed spider will drop an egg, which will respawn your pet spider.
