Currently, interaction entities in Minecraft only support width and height parameters, which define their hitbox in the X and Y directions. However, there is no option to control the Z coordinate (depth), which limits their precision and usability in custom mechanics, datapacks, and plugins.
Adding a Z coordinate parameter (depth) would make it possible to create accurate 3D hitboxes, improve custom interactions, and expand possibilities for map makers and mod developers.
This addition would make interaction entities consistent with other bounding-box-based entities and simplify complex interaction systems in custom content.
