copper golem movement

So far the copper golem has been really cool in Minecraft. But there's a minor problem! I have summoned a couple of copper golems and they are both in different rooms and whenever they open the door cause there are chest in both rooms then they just walk into each other and the player has to move them. So maybe the copper golem will only put items in the nearest chest. Or when it sees another mob (that's peaceful) it waits ten seconds and then walks through the door.
