Squirrels

Only appear during the day, and are found only in the wild plains, the Taiga Forest, Cherry Biome, and Birch Forest. They go into their nests once it’s winter. Players can tame the squirrels with seeds. Once the squirrels are tamed, they can collect things for you or do tasks like: Mining if you give the squirrel a pickaxe, farming if you give the squirrel carrots, potatoes, beat seeds, or pumpkin seeds. Once the player has tamed the squirrel, you will be able to see a red collar or a blue collar around their neck. Squirrels can’t attack mobs, so if a player tries to make the squirrel do a task to attack mobs, it’ll not do it, instead would just walk around. Squirrels can also collect flowers for you when you sleep at night along with collecting: Sticks, leaves, apples, music discs, or even raw ores. Squirrels follow you and can pick up things that you’ve dropped, or even pick up the items once the player dies, then once the player respawns, the squirrel gives the player their stuff back that they had when they died.
