Chainmail should resist or disarm Spears

This armor set has always been a bit out of place, with it being unobtainable for a long time, then becoming a rare drop and a trade option. It is much harder to obtain than Iron, however it offers less durability, therefore its value comes from it as an aesthetic option or as a collectable rather than a feature on the progression tree or as a combat option.

With the introduction of spears and mounted combat in the next drop, perhaps chainmail armor could be revisited. My suggestion is to make it so, charge attacks from spears are either heavily resisted by chainmail armor, or disable the weapon similarly to how axes can disable shields. Knights wearing chainmail to resist attacks from spears on horseback comes to mind as a real life example.
