Transportation update

Hello Mojang! With the new mount update coming, I pulled some inspiration from videos and my own ideas about horse and minecart buffs. One buff for horses could be horseshoes. Horseshoes would be a new piece of horse armor ranging from wood to diamond, found in chests, The real purpose of horseshoes is to enchant. You could put frost walker on your horseshoes, which would solve the problem horses have with water. 

Minecarts also desperately need an update. They are very expensive and are no longer worth it for their speed anymore. One thing to generally make them more fun would be the ability to link them together using chains, which would make awesome trains you could ride with your friends! Doubling or even tripling the minecart speed would make them useful again. And 
I know this might mess up some restore contraptions, but here me out: the speed could be set by the player, or you could add a new kind of rail type, (possibly a copper rail?) to combat this. This new rail would also slow down trains more effectively by setting the rail to a low speed. Just imagine the creative possibilities! Players could transport mobs and ride trains with their friends and use this new (copper?) rail variant to make train stops.
