Minecraft: Tech Update – Energy and Plastic
This update introduces a new electricity and industrial materials system, aiming to expand the game's technical and aesthetic possibilities. Elements have been added to hide circuits, create more realistic electrical systems, and build with modern materials.
New Materials
Plastic: Obtained by heating vegetable resin in a furnace. This material is used to insulate cables, make switches, and build modern structures. It is available in the game's sixteen basic colors, with textures similar to concrete.
Refined Copper: Obtained by combining copper with iron. It is more resistant to oxidation and is used to create electrical components.
New Items
Electrical Wire: Made from refined copper and plastic. It can be placed inside solid blocks such as walls or floors, allowing energy to be transported hidden. It transmits current up to fifteen blocks, just like Redstone.
Modern Switch: Controls the flow of current through electrical cables.
Electrical Box: Organizes and distributes power between different circuits.
Battery: Temporarily stores energy, allowing a connection to remain active for a short period of time.
LED Light: New, more efficient lighting source, configurable in various colors.
This update allows for more realistic, efficient, and clean building construction, eliminating the need to leave redstone lines visible. This expands the technical and architectural focus of Minecraft.
