Hello,
Recently, Mojang has added full server movement correction for the Bedrock Edition, but this feature is currently limited to Bedrock Dedicated Servers (BDS) and Worlds. Custom server software developers need to create their own movement correction systems without comprehensive sources or detailed documentation on how movement is calculated in Bedrock. If we had a detailed document outlining movement mechanics, covering standard movement and fluid and liquid interactions, we could help custom server software implement complete server movement correction. Right now, getting information on how Bedrock movement works is challenging. We can only figure out a few aspects on our own, while the rest tends to be too complicated or time-consuming to solve independently. Better documentation would greatly help eliminate movement cheaters from servers, especially on minigame servers, where cheating is common. This issue is becoming more serious. Although various checks can help reduce problems, full movement prediction is the next important step in reducing cheating.
Thanks.
