Purple heart wood.

I would like to see a purple heart kind of wood. Purple heart wood when first cut is a magnificent purple color. The wood then oxygenated becomes a rich brown color. With a varnish or coating the wood however stays it's common purple color. I believe this could work well in the base game with similar mechanics to how copper ages but can be locked in it's age via beeswax. The purpleheart wood would also age similarly but could be prevent from aging with the application of beeswax as in reality beeswax has also been used in wood preservation.
