Magic wands.

I believe that magic wands would be an excellent addition to the game. They would not be tiered, but they would be given specific elements. There would also be an ore called pluse, (Pl-oo-s), which give the wands their magic properties. It will be an extremely rare ore only found above bedrock in the nether or you can find them in shipwrecks, abandoned villages, or buried treasure. The crafting recipes will be listed below.

Plant magic wand: A stick on the bottom middle square, a tree leaf (any kind) in the middle, and a pluse on the top.

Fire magic wand: A stick on the bottom middle square, a lava bucket in the middle, and a pluse on top.

Water magic wand: A stick on the bottom, a water bucket in the middle, and a pluse on top.

Air magic wand: A stick on the bottom, and a pluse on top.

Earth magic wand: A stick on the bottom, a piece of coal in the middle, and a pluse on top.

Each wand will give the player three abilities but needs to be held in your off hand. The Y, U, and I keys, use each ability. The abilities can be voted on at a Minecraft live event before being added to the game. There will be an option to turn them on and off before creating a world in Minecraft so you will not have to play with them if you choose not to.
