The trilobite was an ancient arthropod that used to live on our planet. It should be able to live on in Minecraft. Here’s how: the trilobite would live at the bottom of the warm and cold oceans. It would be able to breathe underwater and on land. Since it was an arthropod, it would be affected by the Bane of Arthropods enchantment. They can be bred by kelp, since kelp is algae, and they were thought to have eaten algae and small invertebrates. They are passive, and can be tamed using spider eyes. Once tamed, they can help you find ocean ruins. On death, they drop 9-10 experience, and 1-3 blocks of calcite, since their exoskeletons were made of calcite. The trilobite may be extinct in our world, but they should live on in Minecraft.
