A [vanilla] end update!

Mojang has made it very, very clear that they want to make the end feel barren. And while I think this would be cool, the community really loves the lush end update mods. So, why not meet in between? 

Mostly barren: The end would still be mostly barren, with the same inner-outer island generation. 

With oasis: However, there would be oasis, which would be medium-to-large spots of the end with lush biomes, intricate structures and cool mobs. There could even be end whales floating above, creating gorgeous noises!

More mobs: There would be oasis mobs, but there could also be friends & foes outside of the oasis, in the barren expanses in the end. 

Inner island upgrade: Could have crying/regular obsidian mixed in, along with dead end plants to make the inner end island feel more alive.

    As you said a lush area of the end would be really nice 

     

    But i think that there should be a new dungeon and boss fight that would make the end a proper challenge
