My main issue with the Warden right now is that it's so slow at detecting you and doesn't punish you enough for summoning it to the point where it would be easier to do a smash and grab on the loot than play around distracting or hiding from it. Often you can just axe the chests and run a mile away before it could even dig itself out of the ground, not to mention the multiple ways to make a safe spot where it can't hit you, such as a 20 block long tunnel in the wall. But at the same time, it takes forever to despawn or kill and only serves to waste your time if you do try the sneaking method and accidentally summon one, so it is lacking in its purpose. The warden should act more like the one in the trailer, where it can dig through blocks to get to a target, but only when its anger is maxed out, so you can still use a hallway to hide from it but not when it's already aggro'd. It should also be able to jump really high to reach players far above it, but only if it senses multiple attacks coming from above as a punishment for trying to kill it
Finally, it should react faster, being able to pick up noises from skulk sensors and gain anger as soon as it begins digging its way out of the ground, but also despawn faster as well. Instead of 60 seconds, make it despawn after only 20 seconds at 0 anger. It should also despawn immediately if it is at 0 anger and the chunks are unloaded. Shriekers should also summon subsequent wardens faster if the same shrieker was set off repeatedly.
