Offshore wind frams

In real life, there are wind farms at sea. Is that also possible in Minecraft? Could an update be released to add wind farms in the game's seas

    Why would you want a wind farm? What would it do? Currently it just sounds like a visual thing which is fine but, and also what wind is it getting there is no wind in the game currently but this could be a good idea if it had more purpose
