Right now the jab seems almost useless since it's better to use the charge in most situations, so I have an idea to maybe make it better.
Make the jab make more damage based on relative velocity like the charge, but since you have to time it unlike the charge, it will make a critical hit instead of a normal one.
Also to not make the charge too OP make it have a small cooldown after you stop holding based on how much time you held the spear like if you needed some time to recover from holding it too much and make it have less range than the jab since it can also hit through walls and you don't need to time it at all.
