I think all overworld zombie variants should have consistent behaviour (zombie piglins are different as in minecraft lore they zombify due to seperation from nether spores rather than through infection).
Consistent behaviour would be as follows:
- Zombies, drowned, husks, zombie horses, and zombie nautilus should be hostile to the player and all creatures able to be zombified.
- Mobs able to be zombified should flee from all zombies.
- All overworld zombie variants should be able to attack and convert all creatures able to be zombified.
- A tamed horse or nautilus remains tamed to the player when zombified and are unable to attack other creatures while saddled.
- All zombified creatures should have a drowned variant (zombie nautilus is already a drowned. Since horses float, players would need to deliberately drown a zombie horse to get a drowned one).
- Zombie nautiluses shouldn't suffocate on land as all other zombie variants are immune to suffocation.
- All zombified creatures should have a husk variant if spawned or zombified in a desert on land (nautilus husks/dried nautiluses could be created by beaching a nautilus in a desert and zombifying it before it suffocates).
I think that these changes would improve immersion by creating consistency. Drowned and husk variants of other zombifyable creatures such as villagers, horses, and nautiluses would also provide a fun additional challenge to players trying to collect uncommon mob types.
