"Times Used" statistic of specific Armor Trims always remains zero

Applying Armor Trims (e.g., Vex, Ward, Tide, ...) doesn't change the "Times Used" statistics within the "Items" tab for that specific Armor Trim ("minecraft:used/minecraft:<trim_name>_armor_trim_smithing_template" within the stats file). This means there's currently no way to track how many times a certain Armor Trim has been applied.

Steps to reproduce:
Place down a Smithing Table, get any Armor Trim, drop the Armor Trim and pick it back up so it becomes visible in the statistics, get any piece of Armor along with any Trim material, open the Smithing Table's UI and apply the Trim.

Expected Result:
The value of the "Times Used" statistic of that specific Armor Trim should have increased by one.

Actual Result:
The value of the "Times Used" statistic of that specific Armor Trim stays at zero.
