Right now, health regeneration works differently between Minecraft Java Edition and Bedrock Edition. In Bedrock, players regenerate health faster and more consistently when their hunger bar is full, while in Java Edition, regeneration is slower and less predictable.
To make gameplay fair and consistent across all platforms, health regeneration should work the same way in both versions. This would make survival, PvP, and general gameplay feel more balanced for everyone — no matter which edition they play.
Unifying this mechanic would also help servers, creators, and players who switch between editions have a smoother and more familiar experience.
