Add Ducks to Minecraft

Ducks would be an amazing addition to Minecraft’s world! They could naturally spawn near rivers, lakes, and swamps, swimming in small groups. Unlike chickens, ducks would be able to swim on water and even dive for short moments.

There could be multiple duck textures — for example, mallard-style males with green heads and females with brown feathers — to make them look more realistic and varied. Ducks could lay eggs just like chickens, which could hatch into ducklings or be used as a new type of food item.

This addition would make Minecraft’s ecosystems feel much more alive, especially in wetland biomes. Watching groups of ducks peacefully swimming and quacking together would bring even more charm and life to the game’s nature.
