Happy Ghast Should Not Be Audible From So Far Away

The distance from which you can hear the sound of a Happy Ghast needs to be lowered. In Minecraft Java 1.21.9, a change was made that makes Happy Ghasts audible from 64 blocks away. This is a problem because now I can't have my Happy Ghast anywhere near my base without having to listen to it constantly, which gets annoying very quickly.

It makes sense for a normal Ghast to be audible from so far away, since they are dangerous and have a long attack range. But I don't see any reason for the Happy Ghast, a passive mob, to be audible from such a distance.

I think the audible distance of Happy Ghasts was fine before this update, and it should be be reverted back to how it was so that you only hear the mob when you're actually close to it.

    Agreed, I have a few in my base and now the noise is constant no matter where I go and gets annoying rather quick as much as I love them!

    Yes please! Fix it Mojang. We all love the happy ghasts but they are too loud 😭
