Invisible Item Frames OR place/display item command?

Since invisible item frames don’t seem to be coming anytime soon to Minecraft bedrock, why not have a simple command prompt like /placeitem or /displayitem and then combined with orientation + coordinates?? With commands like /setblock or /fill they do not fulfill these tasks and only work with blocks. An important detail is that the command should NOT require command blocks, so it stays survival friendly while maintaining the already existing system that’s in place with the similar functions as I mentioned before.
