spears can be thrown

spears can be thrown, however, unlike the trident, theirs no enchantment that would allow the spear to come back. and the heavier the spear the harder and less farther/more arc like the spear may be. Thus, spare spears can be used for throwing or even stocking up on more spears for throwing, and this wouldn't hinder the trident as much in terms of throwing. 

Also the thrown spear would stick out of the person. their could even be an enchantment akin to slowness that for every spear stuck to the victim, that causes the victim to slow down, however, this wouldn't work in terms of wind charges or elytra, and of course on horseback.

    What button would you even use to throw the Spear? Right-click? Too bad that's already taken by the charge attack.

    And the more important question is: Why? It doesn't need it, it only makes the feature more bloated than necessary considering its charge mechanic is already bloated right now, all while forcing them to strike the balance as to not make Tridents obsolete and lack identity.

    It just seems like an 'add it just for the sake of it' kind of suggestion.

    The whole point would be to not make the trident more obsolete. as for what button, maybe right click. not sure which. either that, or have the charge atttacks be more for the higher graded spears.

    I think the spear now should get a rework, it is not a spear, it is a lance, so spear now should replace its texture to lance, name also, and we'll have a new weapon that is called spear, the actual spear, and it is throwable by pressing right click, like a much weaker trident. Come on, I was really expecting that spear is a throwable thing.
