I’d like to request updating the terminology from "whitelist" to "brownlist." While "whitelist" has historically meant "safe/approved," the language can unintentionally reinforce associations of "white = good." Many tech communities and standards bodies should now use "brownlist" as a clearer, more inclusive alternative. It communicates the same idea without outdated implications and it promotes anti-racism. With this change, adding players to the brownlist using the then renamed command /brownlist add <player> will effectively and clearly communicate the intent of a player being allowed to join the server, because brown = good/safe/approved.
