    Sorry but that is not true, ammonites have the same size as the nautilus and are already extinct. And the texture does not match to the ammonite

    I think this is true but this is just a fun game and I think the design looks really nice

    What's next, is someone gonna complain that silverfish don't look like silverfish and the bees are too large?

    Renaming the Nautilus to Ammonite is a very good way to get around the fact that feeding them pufferfish would be poisonous. Making it to a creature that doesn't exist anymore (as far as I'm aware) would prevent another firefly situation. And as Mojang said that they were making an exception to make it more fantasy, adding an extinct creature rather than a massive version of an alive one would fit that better.
    And as Ammonites had such a range of different sizes, you could have a big salmon kind of thing with them as well.
    Also nautilus shells could be renamed to Ammonite shells to keep consistency. This wouldn't be unprecedented to change/remove an existing item as roses were changed to rose bushes.
